GEODE à la 34ème édition de l’International Geographical Congress

Le mercredi 18 août, plusieurs chercheurs de GEODE ont présenté les résultats de leurs recherches durant la 34ème éditions de l’International Geographical Congress.
De 12h30 à 13h30, Amaël Cattaruzza a présidé la première partie du panel « Geopolitics of the Datasphere » qui portait sur les politiques des données :
- Clotilde Bomont et Amaël Cattaruzza – « From a technical Component to a geopolitical object : cloud computing, a security issue for France ».
Charlotte Escorne – « Strategic issues of 5G deployment in French-speaking Africa ».
- Ilan Scialom – « Bringing the concept of coopetition into the field of political geography: the example of Israel and Saudi Arabia in digital security ».
Margot François – « Analyzing the Cuban connection: several ‘digital spaces’ for a geopolitical approach ».
De 15h00 à 16h00, Alix Desforges présidait la deuxième partie du panel sur le thème « Mapping the Routes of the Internet : Data, Topologies, Power » qui comprenait notamment les présentations suivantes :
