As part of the GEODE project, Sébastien Colin is studying Chinese government narratives on national and international geopolitical issues and how they propagate in the digital space. Another aspect of this work consists in assessing the different dimensions of Chinese digital influence on a global scale, notably through the analysis of investment flows and cooperation within the framework of the Digital Silk Road. On this point, since November 2019, he has been participating in the Steering Committee of the COST CA 18215 Action “China in Europe Research Network”, one of whose workstreams consists of analysing Chinese investments in transport infrastructure and strategic sectors.
