Nowmay Opalinski is the runner-up for « Best Student Paper Award »

Nowmay Opalinski was attending the 20th Chinese Internet Research Conference, which was hosted by Digital Asia Hub at Chiang Mai University. The conference focused on exploring various aspects of the Chinese Internet in the Global South.

Nowmay was incredibly grateful and humbled to have been recognized with the « Runner-Up » Best Student Paper Award for his work titled « The making of a ‘Digital CPEC’: empirical findings on Chinese tech companies’ adaptation strategies in Pakistan.« 

He expresses his utmost gratitude to the exceptional Steering Committee of CIRC for the esteemed recognition and the invaluable feedback on his paper. He eagerly anticipates the forthcoming CIRC gathering in Brisbane!
