APSA Annual Meeting & Exhibition 2020 from the 8th to the 13th September

8 September 2020 - 13 September 2020

Yesterday at #APSA2020 conference, Frédérick Douzet presented a study on the monitoring of the propagation of Russian content on the Web during the 2020 primaries. This work is the result of a collaboration between F.Douzet, Kave Salamatian, Kevin Limonier and Stanford University researcher, BRUCE CAIN.
They propose a new methodology to monitor sources of information by tracking the propagation of Russian-sourced news throughout the Web.

On the same panel, Colin Gerard also presented a study carried out with Guilhem Marotte and Loqman Salamatian on the mapping of the dissemination of Russian narratives on social networks in France.
Their study highlights innovative methodologies for understanding and mapping the dissemination of stories produced by Russian news agencies (RT and Sputnik in France), which are increasingly popular on social networks.
